Author of: Eddie and the Jets

John Attanas was born, raised, and still lives in New York City. He has a B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing, an M.A. in English from New York University, and has completed other graduate work at Fordham University and Queens College. Many of the plays he has written have been performed in New York, Los Angeles, Illinois, and Kansas. He has published numerous theatre reviews on www.oobr.com, as well as articles in The Young Performer's Guide. Mr. Attanas has written the biography Yo-Yo Ma: A Life in Music, published by J.G. Burke Publishers. He is a lifelong New York Jets fan and fondly remembers quarterbacks Joe Namath, Richard Todd, Ken O'Brian, Boomer Esiason, Neil O'Donnell, Vinny Testaverde, and Chad Pennington, not to mention all of the other great Jets players from his youth to the present day.
